Special cases aside, the fluoride in cooking salt and fluoride toothpastes is usually sufficient for adults. Adults should use a toothpaste like Elgydium Tooth Decay Protection on a daily basis. There is also the Elgydium Kids Tooth Decay Protection toothpaste for children aged two to six and the Junior version for children aged seven to twelve. In some cases, depending on your needs, your dentist may advise you on how to increase your exposure to fluoride (supplements, gel, mouthwash, for example).
